Hafod Quarry Bank 1 / 1
  • Start from a sit beneath the prominent undercut on the left side of the boulder. Move towards the top right (northeast) angle of the undercut to top out. The route offers a variety of holds, allowing for adaptability depending on the climber's preferences.
  • Start on the left of the bulge, matching with a high heel. Traverse the lip using crimps, a small pinch, and heels. About halfway across, move up to a jug and crimp. Finish by using monos to reach a mono side pull, then up to the large spiked jug. Note: The main bulge is excluded (below the overhang), but the underside face is in.
  • Begin as for Double Identity. Upon reaching the mid-way stacked jug and crimp, transition up toward the large jug northeast of the bulge. Use the earlier crimp beneath the bulge to move right into a positive crimp northeast of the curved jug, then finish with a top-out. Note: The main bulge is excluded (as it’s below the overhang), but the underside face remains in.
  • Whilst looking face on at the main boulder. On the right hand flank is a very low "stretchy" start. Full arm length stretch start with feet toe and heel hooked just above the floor form there make your way up the boulder to a large flat slap. The route can be adjusted to a higher or a lower grade on the individuals choice of hand placements. From good placements, large crimps and edges to extremely small crimps and one/two finger pockets
  • Start with an undercling on the right side of the boulder. Traverese left up to the sloping buldge and make you way up left to the top
  • Sit start on the low ledge. Powerful move up to the sloper and small jug. Next use a heel hook to reach up and top out.
  • Traverse from left to right, using nothing above the roof. Once on the right straight up the pocket wall to a top out
  • Start on the pointy rock closest to the left end of the boulder, use the top ledge to move across to the right and top out.
