To get there, hike past the campground and into the riverbed. After a hundred yards or so, there is a boulder off to the right about 50 feet on a small, slightly overgrown path; this is the whale boulder.

start on the jug, and go straight up the prow. Left hand first, then right hand to the small crimp. bump left hand, then go right to the cool sloper dish with the thumb catch. left hand once more, throw with the right to a good edge and top out.
