Climbing is completely prohibited!
Area contains rock paintings that are dated to be 2000-4000 years old. These paintings and the area around them are protected by the Norwegian Cultural Heritage Act (Lov om kulturminner). Climbing across the paintings can damage them and in order to avoid this climbing is completely prohibited. -- Alta Museum
