No special access issues
Take either a taxi to the Allway Gardens, On Yat Street (Tsuen Wai Fa Yuen) and walk along the concrete footpath until you reach a small bridge, or take a bus to the TL Adventist Hospital (No. 39M) and walk up the concrete staircase opposite the hospital entrance. Once you’ve crossed over the bridge continue up the hill to a catchwater (you can drive to this point if you have your own transportation) and cross this, again continuing up the hill. After about 1/2km a path breaks right from the main one and contours the hillside a short way before continuing upwards, follow this until you reach a small shelter at the top of the hill.
From here turn left and follow a dirt path around a small knoll. Continue along the concreted path ahead up the gently sloping hillside. Follow the path up the hillside until its very end and continue rightwards on a dirt path, which eventually becomes concrete once again. Continue along this until another path breaks right just past a reforestation signboard. This leads up to a small, abandoned school.
Continue around the backside of the buildings. Just beyond the small outhouse and at the bottom of the hill, a small dirt track breaks off left from the main dirt path and leads to the Split Boulder. It is also possible to follow the main dirt path up the small hill and, when near the crest of the hill, contour to the left a short way above a large boulder with an impressive face on the downhill side, before descending down the hill to the boulders. It’s also possible, and slightly shorter, to approach via Radar Rocks.
