Almost fell at the end. Really fun steep climbing but needs to be rebolted - all bolts are rusty with the 5th bolt looking especially bad. Also a bit weird anchor placement in "good" Tenerife style.

Quite hard passage on crimpers. Got a foot slip there but managed to grab a crimper and stayed alive.

Nice one. Easier than it looks. Hard boulder at the end, save some power for it ;) 2rp while hanging QDs Psyched, let's go!

Fun! Felt hard :)

Very nice climb. Almost onsighted it while hanging QDs - fell off on the last move to the jug. Came down and started over right away with a successful outcome. IMO it's too easy for 7a+ compared to other routes of the same grade in Tenerife.

Quite cool actually with hand jams in the beginning. Almost fell off at the crux - didn't find the sidepull for the right hand and made the move harder than needed (6b+/6c IMO). Katya climbed afterwards, found the hold and made the move much easier so probably 6b is fair.

Another long good route in El Rio. I supposed the route is called "La Perla Negra" and not "La Placa Negra".

Fun climbing. Wouldn't flash it if Katya hadn't guided me through the climb :) Reachy and sparsely bolted/hard to put QDs

Bold start. The route is not bad.

Was close to drop it at the end due to the pump :) Probably a bit soft for 7b (compared to La silla eléctrica, for example), especially if you go for a no-hands rest on the ledge (which I didn't). Easy OS as all the pockets were in chalk. Best route I've climbed in the whole Arico Arriba. Definitely worth a longer (Tenerife-wise) hike.

Tricky at the end, not so easy to pass the initial bulge. Not bad! (Though the second bolt is too high)

Another good climb in El Rio

One of the best 6as I've climbed!

It's a fun long route without a crux. The ladder and the dirt make it not so appealing though. Quite soft, easier than Como marca la ley (6c+) in the same sector IMO. Climb Luna llena or Putsas zarzas instead if you are short on time.

Hard move on the bulge. Easy climb otherwise. Not recommended.

Top line, the finish crack is easier than it looks. Such a fun climb Indian Creek-style! 5th bolt is hard to clip from below :/

The start is harder than it looks, quite a boulder problem. Almost felt off at the end of the traverse from the dihedral. Anyway cool line with a crack Indian Creek-style!

Tricky before the ledge. Got scared by a pigeon rushing from the crack!

Engaging slab with interesting finish. Not bad at all. High first bolt.

Fin, varierande klättring med komplecerad beta på flera ställen (nu finns det en beta video!). Startsekvensen är klart svårast på hela leden, 6c+ Knutby boulder kanske? Minus en stjärna för no-hands vilan på hyllan.

Nice technical route that requires some problem solving skills. Missed the jug near second bolt during the on-sight. Started over from ground right away. 2nd go (almost full on-sight)

Steep and fun. Goes to the left anchor according to the book (and the bolt line). 2nd go

Very dirty. The rock crumbles on touch. The climbing is ok. Fell from the last hold on OS of the extension, was too tired to do the route afterwards. Not going back.

Easy start, hard end. Quite technical and fingery at the end. Fun and non-trivial moves! Really satisfied with the OS.

Steep on jugs. Hard to onsight due to too many options, but can be an easy redpoint. 2rp while hanging QDs.

Top line! A hard bouldery start followed by a bit easier section and a pumpy tufa part. Quite reachy at the end where I fully stretched to a blind side pull. Fell on the 2rp after the last bolt (used the sloper instead of the side pull which is much harder). 3rp

2nd go... Med 2 års uppehåll mellan försöken.

Missade grepp till vänster på OS:n. Gick lätt på andra trots regnet. En crimp gick sönder på slutet, påverkar inte graden.

En intressant sekvens på slutet. Det rekommenderas att borsta greppen i början av leden innan klättring.

Fick avbryta OS:n runt 3:e bult pga spöregn. Gjorde leden dagen därpå. Klättrade kruxet rakt på och det kändes inte så lätt. Ankare saknas.

Har klättrat 6a boulder som är lättare än den här 5:an

Hård bouldrery start, klättrade rakt på och missade krimpen till höger - flyttet till hyllan blev extra spännande :) Resten av leden är mycket lättare. 6b/+ boulder? PS Killen på videobetan använder en kant till vänster som jag uteslöt. Det kanske blir lättare med den?

Missförstod leden, gick till höger i början och fastnade där ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ Klättrade rakt på andra försöket och det kändes inte så svårt. Lättare än Foxy Lady. 6b+?

Ojämn och kruxig led. Ansåg att min beta var alldeles för hård efter två misslyckande försök. Gick bättre med en ny sekvens med foten lång till vänster. Kanske lite soft med rätt beta...

En rolig led med stora smutsiga grepp. Ser svårare ut än den är.

Vet inte om areten men om man klättrar leden som en kamin blir det inte hårdare än 7a (snarare 6c+ att vara ärligt) ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ Leden är fin hur som helst och bör klättras. Fin stenkvalité.

Mycket fint och varierande led. Satte den hyfsat lätt på uppvärmningsförsöket idag (medan hängde upp QDs) men fick kämpa mycket för ett par veckor sedan därför uppgraderar. Det är viktigt att mjölka vilorna på första delen innan taket :)

Bouldery start

Fin och varierande klättring från början till slut. Inte helt lätt travers från Nosferatu till Karelin med ett pumpigt avslut där. Perfekt led att klättra efter man har gjort Horväder och innan Akapella!

Bäst på klippan? Men ofta smutsig/blött

Jag hade inte stora marginaler på startsekvensen, tror det kan vara lättare för de med långa armar. Mitten och slutet är inte så svårt om man hittar rätt betan (7a/+).

Jäklar, vad jag fick att ta i på kruxet! Vet inte om det finns en lättare beta men den som jag gjorde var väldigt hård.

Fin. Lättare än Ostkustens pärla IMO.

Ojämn led men rolig klättring ändå. Ett fint och hårt boulderkrux. Jag klättrade rakt på med vh på crimpen till vänster och hh på den sloppiga juggen till höger (som sedan flyttades till en dålig undercling). Den bra underclingen försvann någon under gång 2019-2020.

En till fin led på Råsklippan. Nyrensad av Katya, nu går det att ta slutsloppern och inte glida av på ett tjockt lager av jord ;) Ganska svåra flytt på slutet, leden förtjänar 7a+ graden tycker jag.

En boulder på rep

Kan klättras till vänster av bultlinien och till höger. Högervarianten är svårare, kanske 6a. Kort men ok led.

Okej led men var smutsig när jag klättrade den. Allt annat var blött. Soft?

Top route!

A masterpiece! Last send of the trip, took 5 proper tries (after 2-3 goes to train the moves) always falling at the last hard move. Knee bar just before the last overhang did the tricket on the send attempt - I cruised the last section with no problem at all. A proper 7b+ IMO while most other routes in the area are a tad soft.

Not so bad actually. A bit tricky in the middle, it's hard to find holds.

Very nice route, climbed as drawn in the rockfax app to the left of the bolt line at the end. Desperately clipped the last bolt (reachy). Learned only afterwards that you are supposed to climb on the face... Anyway, it was fun and 7a-ish.

Me not like. Sparsely bolted, ok climbing. Definitely not top50 as the guidebook claims. 60m rope is more than enough for this route.

Short one. Not polished at all, some sharp holds closer to the end. A bit of shade in the morning.

I my opinion, this route deserves a star. A bit too soft for warming up ;)

Harder than some other 6b's on the crag. Technical vertical climbing mostly on crimps all the way up. Being a bit polished is good in this case - not much damage on the skin :)

Top line, steep on good holds. 2nd go, fell just before the jug next to the second to last bolt on OS.

Not sure about an easy red point but the route is one of the best I tried on the crag and coincidentally one of the hardest. Very steep and powerful climbing on slippery but good pockets. There was no chance I could clip the 4th bolt from the right hand crimp (in the middle of the crux sequence) - I put a long sling there and clipped it from below. Steeper and harder than it looks from the ground, 7b/+ IMO.

Brilliant route with different types of climbing. A bit sharp holds on the second half.

Wow, what an adventure! Technical difficulty is probably around 6b+/c but scariness adds 1-2 grades extra ;) Minus one star for som rusty bolts and difficult approach.

Nice little slab. Holds all over the place, quite sharp crimps.

Did it quickly on the second go after a fall in the beginning - most of the route was on-sight. A bit fun but not much than that.

Nice route, quite pumpy and continous without much rest. Start is a bit harder than the rest, a but tricky at the end though. Some sharp holds on the second half. Recommended!

Fick den leden på köpet efter har gjort en linkup som börjar i Solarplexus. Ett kult krux med mittfingermatch och ett par dynamiska flytt. Den vänstra leden på balkongen.

Fin, gick ner ganska snabbt. Och i sådant värme (30 plusgrader, ingen vind). Soft? Åtminstone lättare än Utan Smör.

Really nice and quite hard

Fantastic overhanging part with tufas. With a knee pad not harder than 7b IMO. Lower (slab/vertical) part is not trivial and around 6c+ on its own.

Minus stjärna för en svår och burly start (som förtjänar pluset i graden). Annars kul led med en häftig sekvens i mitten och ett spicy avslut.

Typ on-sight. Provade början för million år sedan när jag var för svag :P Jättefin och lång led. Starten kändes orimligt svår, kanske något grepp som lossnade? För övrigt räckte ett 60m rep för att klättra hela leden.

Vassa juggar. Spännande flyt på slutet. Starten är oklar - det går att börja på juggen till vänster. Jag började på sidotaget nere till höger som gav två moves till den korta leden. Gick på andra försöket, förmodligen soft för graden (6c+?)

Otydlig. Svår att rensa. Ett litet fotgrepp lossnade på starten, vet inte om det blir svårare nu.

Bra link-up. Tydligare än leden som går snett från samma start. Fick kallpump på den men kunde återhämta mig efter 3bb :)

Lite mer sport känsla på den här leden jämfört med de flesta andra på klippan. Fin. Har en del vassa grepp.

Fin o hård, svårare än Djingis Khan. Ett grepp innanför kruxsekvensen gick sönder igår men det påverkar inte graden särskilt mycket.

Typ onsight - second go på första movet. Ett nyckelgrepp för starten ligger en bit bort från bultlinien ;)

Gjorde starten från marken och inte från stenhögen. Startmovet kändes ganska hård.

Kul start sekvens och inte helt lätt klättring till slutet. Gjorde ett misstag på flashen och gick in i iron cross vid näst sista bulten men orkade att klättra tillbaks :)

Cool line, has a bit of everything: a bouldery start with a heel hook, a technical traverse with a hand jam and a mantling at the end. Went down faster than its 7b neighbor. Probably because it's less bouldery?

One of the best in its class in Sweden. Minus one star for a dirty start and questionable stone quality (a 5kg block fell down during a warm up). It should be climbed more!

I enjoyed it even more than Solar Plexus, maybe because it's more even and doesn't have such a bouldery start. The crux sequence is just beautiful and requires not only some power left in the tank but also a delicate footwork. Got heavy rain and hail on the send day but it didn't stop me (actually I climbed this route when it was way more wet ;) If it's in your climbing range and you are visiting Sjöända - this route is a must.

I don't like Ågelsjön that much - there is too many mediocre routes. This line however is one of the best I climbed out there. Quite different in style before and after the ledge, including a delicate and quite hard start, slab middle section and vertical climbing till the end. I was surprised to fall several times right before the anchor, apparently the red point crux was higher than I expected it. However the route went relatively easy after all the beta was learned ;) Grade-wise it's somewhere in 7a+/b zone.

Hard. Felt doable after dogging but the red point crux turned out to be not at the end of the route but right after 4th QD. Took way too many attempts. The route is nice, a bit spicy at the end.

By the marks on the rock it looked like several holds fell off. I wonder if that made the route easier.

Säsongens första send. Gick relativt lätt på första presset efter ett par doggningar. Fin och mycket beta-beroende led. Rekommenderas.

The finest I've climbed so far. Was never a real project but I tried it several times during the season '19. Today it went. +6 in the air and dry rock - you don't need more. I was really close to fall after the last crux due to the pump but somehow caught a crimp in the crack and then bumped further to the edge of the "shelf". After that I knew I couldn't fall and climbed the last meters with a confidence.

Tried this route a couple of years ago on top rope and had no memory whatsoever of it this time when I climbed it on lead. A very nice climb, finest of its grade at the crag.

The finest among 7a's at this crag. Cool crux move. Run-out at the end but much easier climbing compared to the rest of the route.

On the second try it felt not hard at all. After the second session I felt weak (and disappointed). Third session revealed that it's easy to fall after the crux. Fourth session brought the relieve. Nice and hard boulder route. I wonder why the 4th bolt is so high and when it is supposed to be clipped (always put a long sling there).

Difficult to call it a flash as I've tried both start and finish of this route before. However, I liked it more than Goliath/Simple Man. Probably, because it's more even.

Amazing tufa climbing. Felt quite hard for the grade but maybe that's because of the poor beta. I had a real fight on the 2nd go which I won with a very small margin (I guess I didn't want to lose my balls at the end of the game). Unfortunately, the anchor was not in the great shape - a bit of rust on the chain and the carabiners were worn deeply. Other than that - a very fine line, definitely worth a try. UPD the anchor has been replaced as of 27.08.2023

Okyt route but nothing special about it.

Interesting route, send on the 2nd go. Very physical first half, then it gets easier (2 stars instead of 3 for that) and ends with a slab. In the shade after 16 and probably much earlier (end of July).

One of the best routes I've tried so far. Very bouldery start that felt impossible on the first attempts, nice technical gaston move closer to the middle, sloppy holds after the ledge that required a little bit of footwork, crimps and small cracks closer to the end and even some mantling on the last ledge - this route has it all. 25 meters of joy. Highly recommended.

Fint men nog soft för graden. Roligt krux, hittade en sekvens som var lättare för mig än rakbetan.

Sandbagged 5+. I've climbed easier 6a's. Okay-ish.

Goldfish flash. Felt quite easy. Don't deserve a star in my opinion, there are nicer lines at the crag, e.g. Zebulon, Snake Eyes

Not bad buy not good either. I took a good side-pull quite far to the left between 3rd and 4th QD, not sure it's part of the route.
