amazing short route from iker and oscar, explosive, and painful. Hard to grade, seemed as hard as other 8c+'s, so it's hard to call it 8c.

Nice climb! 9 tries. Climbed it with a really bad cold. Maybe its 8c+, but who knows, Bad ass Route!

an example of the classic condition war. tried it the first time when it was almost dry, and then it just started seeping and getting more wet and gross everyday. in total it took 8 tries, with all 5 wet holds, and heinous humid clouds of vapor from the sea, definitely making things more difficult. I love when you don't think you can climb something due to conditions, and you somehow rise above, and end up at the chains. Priceless. a wonderful climb, with technical tufa moves, especially as its one of the only natural climbs at the crag.

Sharp, in the sun, first hour in hueco. Not my favorite, but fun to climb! Maybe easier since the breaking of some holds.

Muy techo,muy guappo! Took me around 4 tries after working the moves off and on for a while. Always good training to try when its too hot, pay of when the conditions are nice!! Psyched on future variations!

A very sick little route!! Starts on Off the Books, then climbs out Freak with the huge move at the end. Did the bottom boulder pretty quickly, then warmed up more trying Freak, then did the link first try. Jon's vision, inspired by the spanish master ANDRADA!!!! Feels great to be on a rope again!

Very cool roof climbing, almost hueco-esque (except a little bit chossier) with a spicy top out, which I found really awkward. Good sesh with D woods. The great discovery of the day was the deciphering and cleaning of the sick proj, which climbs from an amazing sit start on the right side of the roof through crazy 360 moves and finishing in Bambi. WOW!!!

Amazing ships-prow-like-prow, the sit down start to the existing problem Boogalagga. 7 amazing moves, almost font-like for granite, I am content. Three days this year, and one hour from 1 day back from 2003 or 4 when I sent the stand. The sport climbing attack on spain is next, especially as ticino weather has gone from really-shit to complete-and-utter-catastrophe.

Amazing compression climb with perfect holds. The hike in is hard. Worked the boulder over a couple rainy days with cardeck and diego, then came back with chad and nalle on a beautiful day with amazing friction and climbed it. Super syked to be climbing again.

lowered down from the other 8b at 2:42pm, launched on this one at 2:47pm, got down by 2:57pm, then ran to the BUS! Amazing last day!

Amazing climb, prefect moves, and a hard style for me. I personally think this route felt as hard as most 9a's i have climbed in the years past, but potentially its just really anti-my style. We will see what others have to say as time comes...

After much reconsideration, this route is 9a. Much harder then all other 8c+ on this continent. Props to homie Lev Pinter. bouldery, thuggish, technical, and explosive, the route is dope. Took me around 5 days, and almost 20 tries, i'd say, damn hard. 8c+/9a? we'll see what happens with the grade...

2nd ascent. Potentially one of the best problems on earth? as well might be the best problem I have ever stumbled upon on a hike? One of my all time favorites. Big moves, through perfect grips, on a tall block. Seemingly shaped by a diety.

resistant climbing on positive holds and slopers, mostly mini tufas and underclings. very cool style, lots of compression. tried it over a few days with really bad conditions, heat and humidity, and on the first day with cool weather, it went first try.

Amazing compression problem with a subtle low percentage crux move. Didn't think I could pull it off due to bruised tips and a some heat issues, but managed to actually do it! 4 days, 8 moves, 2nd ascent...classy problem and props to DW's for opening this trail side masterpiece!

climbed it in three small sessions, SYKED... a very cool roof climb, almost swiss style, and very resistant, with tensiony moves on edges...feeling like i'm kinda back in the game again for granite bouldering, and looking forward to the next months at wolverineland!

Very happy times! worked it out with Joe and Daniel, super fun climbing and one of the best lines in rifle. Perhaps the hardest route in the canyon. Two days, 5 tries.BAck in the game!!! finger injury=mended!

WOW. sick new zone, sick new problem. Pure compression. I am not sure if it is 8b+ for everyone...if you are shorter, it may be impossible, yet if you are taller, it could become more 8b or 8a+ even? At 2 meters? That said, its certainly a morphological problem, but is certainly more difficult then the Big Worm in Mt. Evans, for my height. The crux move is at my full extension, and is followed by a terrible toe-hook match, which is extra cabron. SYKED.

YES!!! SO SYKED!!! took me ages! i used a combo of methods, very condition oriented, but I must say, all in all, this is probably the hardest 8b I have ever done. I would never downgrade it from 8b+, if it were graded that, but I'll roll with the idea that its particularly hard for me, and its actually 8b? Very happy this battle is over, but this its such a great problem and a wonderful trainer, I will miss trying it. I'm Syked to be feeling in better shape now after a couple months of bouldering, especially as good temps are arriving for the baller projects...VENGA!!!!!!!

ahh yes, very nice! climbed on route a long time ago in 2000, very cool to revisit. Fun climbing, compression moves, some knee-bars, resistant. especially enjoyed climbing up at the fortress with D.W.s, Joe, and all the birds. lower end 9a but definitely harder then the other 8c+ I know in the nation...

Incredible face climbing on tiny structures. Would be great for onsight :) Very syked to climb this route despite the less then perfect conditions for mini grips.

Well, very cool for me to be back in the game after the hellish ankle/foot/leg accident! Three months later, I can finally climb on lead, and thus can finally climb some routes for real. This route is much harder then all 8c's in ceuse, and consensus seems to be 8c+. Beautiful climb, with a heinous pocket crux at the end. Shit conditions!
